Cleanup challenge
PRESENTATION
Live Ocean Cleanup challenge is a collective initiative that aims to clean the oceans of plastic pollution. Innovative and unprecedented, this initiative is led by associations and companies committed to the climate in order to preserve the marine fauna and flora.
There are currently over 150 million tons of plastic floating in the world's oceans, which represents a major threat to marine wildlife and the environment.
In 2021, it is estimated that there are close to 95,000 commercial ships in operation, including around 16,000 cargo ships and 5,000 container ships.
Plastic pollution is increasingly alarming for underwater fauna and flora. In our reflection which aims to fight against plastic pollution, we believe that using the resources at our disposal is the least expensive, simplest and fastest way to put in place.
PRODUCTS
Items are made in an environmentally friendly manner using recycled plastic collected by the Cleanup Challenge initiative. The purchase of these items supports the project for a clean ocean.
